Geni L. Mertsching, NP-CGeni L. Evans, NP-C

Geni has been working as a registered nurse in the valley since 1984. She has a variety of health care experience including hospital nursing, home health nursing, cardiology and management. She taught nursing at LCSC for 7 years. Because of her long term ties to the community, she returned to school to advance her knowledge to provide health care to individuals in the community. Geni joined the Clearwater Medical Clinic family in 2010. She has completed advanced training in rheumatology and welcomes patients with arthritis questions or who need follow-up locally. Other interests include cardiology, weight management and lap band management, minor surgical procedures such as mole removals, general wellness and individualized care. Geni has two adult children and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling and has traveled to Guyana, South America and Mexico on mission trips. She has two grandsons that are champion wrestlers and she enjoys traveling to tournaments with them. She is their biggest fan.
